2 kilograms (about 5 lbs.) brisket
Sear meat. Cut to fit slow cooker or crockpot, if necessary.
Place meat in slow cooker and add apple juice, honey, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg.
Cook on low for about 8 hours.
At hour 7 (about an hour before done), add the raisins and chopped apple.
