1 lb. lean ground beef
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and put aside.
At the same time pasta is cooking either spray large frying pan with oil spray or coat pan with olive oil. Add crushed garlic and onion, cooking with medium flame until onion is tender. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain.
Add cut up green pepper, mushrooms and the other veggies you are using. Add the tomato sauce, seasonings and lower flame on range and simmer for 10 minutes. Now add the pasta to the beef mixture, stirring well.

Nutritional Info Per Serving: N/A
1 tbsp. olive oil or oil spray
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper (or whatever color you have), cut up in small
pieces
1 tsp. garlic, crushed
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 lemon pepper
1 15 oz. jar tomato sauce
1 can mushrooms, cut up, (Feel free to be creative adding another vegetable like, zucchini, eggplant, etc.)
1 16-ounce box pasta (rice enough for four people is good, too)
Here is a versatile recipe which may include any veggie you wish to use. I have been 'hiding' veggies in this basic recipe from my children (now 31 and 29, as well as my husband!!!) for years. The trick I found was to cut up or finely chop the new veggies I wanted to introduce to them. It has worked, for the flavor of this dish changes slightly with the new ingredients being added and always has a fresh new taste.
