Nahit (Roasted Garbanzos/Chickpeas) (P, TNT)

Serves: 2 to 4

1 can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans, completely drained
Lots of pepper

Take chickpeas and rinse.

Spread one layer onto a cookie sheet.

Sprinkle with lots of pepper bake at 250°F until the desired crispness, about an hour.

It is a favorite--brings back memories when a kiddush was herring, piece of challah, and nahit.
