5 lb. potatoes, peeled and pared
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender and drain.
Sauté onions lightly in oil. Put onions and potato through a grinder. Add egg, salt and pepper to taste.
Divide pastry in quarters. Roll each quarter into a thin sheet. Spoon potato filling along the end of each sheet and roll up.
Cut into 2" slices and bake on cookie sheets in a preheated 350°F oven for 45 minutes, or until browned and puffed.
