1 cup cream style corn
Combine all ingredients, mix until smooth and droop by spoon into 1/8" cooking oil.
These can be made ahead and reheated in 300°F oven for 5 to 10 minutes.

2/3 cup sifted flour with 1-1/2 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/4 tsp white pepper
Vegetable oil, for frying
These are a lovely appetizer topped with a spoon of yogurt or creme fraiche and then either a small piece of smoked salmon or red caviar.
