This recipe does not come from the Southwest, just the West Side of Manhattan!! Nonetheless it is a good recipe, that is popular when I have it served for family gatherings, or meetings in my home. It is served with an assortment of crackers or corn type chips. The surface of the guacamole dip oxidizes after a while. You might want to cover the surface directly with plastic wrap until you serve it, or perhaps adding some lemon juice would help.
