1 tsp. vegetable oil
In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds. Add the turkey and scallions, and cook the mixture over medium heat until it is done, frequently turning it with a spatula to break up the pieces.
Place the cooked turkey mixture in a food processor or blender. Add the remaining ingredients and process the spread until it is smooth.
Spray a 1-quart mold or loaf pan with vegetable oil, and press the turkey mixture into it. Cover the pate with plastic wrap and chill it for 1 hour or longer before unmolding it.
Poster's Notes:
This is sweeter than chopped liver.

3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. allspice
I thought I'd give the Brody recipe I referred to in my last post, in case anyone is interested in a non-vegetarian chopped liver substitute.
