Serves: 8-10

2 cups broiled, chopped eggplants
1/2 cup grated Kashkaval or sharp Gruyere type cheese
1-2 beaten eggs (reserve small amount in a glass)
2-3 tablespoons matzo meal or more
puff pastry dough

Mix all ingredients to obtain a thick mass.

Fill small squares of puff pastry, seal edges, and brush with the egg.

Sprinkle the cheese and bake in a medium oven until gold brown and puffy.
